Risk Disclosure
Last updated: 2026-09-20
This Risk Disclosure is part of the Terms of Service. Read it fully before investing or subscribing. If you do not understand or accept these risks, do not use the services of Sentinel Holdings.
1. Risk of total loss
Trading digital assets, foreign exchange, and equities (whether through a managed account or on your own using Signals) involves substantial risk. You can lose some or all of the capital you commit. Never invest funds you cannot afford to lose, funds needed for living expenses, or borrowed funds.
2. Digital-asset specific risks
Digital assets are extremely volatile; prices can move dramatically within minutes and markets trade 24/7. Additional risks include: exchange or counterparty failure and insolvency; custody risk including theft, hacking and loss of keys; stablecoin issuer and de-peg risk; blockchain network congestion, forks and protocol failures; and irreversible transactions: an incorrect address or network means permanent loss.
3. Leverage and derivatives
Where strategies use leverage, futures, or other derivatives, losses can accumulate rapidly and may exceed initial expectations. Liquidations can occur in fast markets at prices far from expected levels.
4. Liquidity and execution risk
Markets can become illiquid without warning. Orders may be filled at materially worse prices than intended (slippage), or may not be executable at all. Stop-losses do not guarantee an exit price.
5. No regulatory protection or insurance
Balances with the Firm are not bank deposits and are not protected by any deposit-guarantee or investor-compensation scheme. Depending on your jurisdiction and ours, the services may be provided outside of, or with limited, regulatory supervision. Regulatory changes may adversely affect the services, digital assets generally, or your ability to receive payouts.
6. Operational, technology and key-person risk
The services rely on software, servers, internet connectivity, third-party exchanges and, for notifications, Telegram. Outages, bugs, cyber-attacks or data errors may delay reporting, execution or withdrawals. The Firm's operations depend on a small team; incapacity of key personnel could disrupt management.
7. Past performance and projections
Past performance, backtests, simulations and hypothetical results are not indicative of future results. Backtested or model results in particular have inherent limitations: they are prepared with hindsight and do not reflect the impact of real market conditions, slippage or fees unless stated.
8. Signals are not personal advice
Signals are impersonal, automated outputs provided for information. They do not take into account your objectives, finances or risk tolerance, and are not recommendations to you personally. You are solely responsible for any trade you place. Signal frequency, accuracy and profitability vary and can deteriorate without notice.
9. Concentration and strategy risk
Strategies may be concentrated in particular assets, sectors or styles. A single adverse event can cause outsized losses. Risk controls such as drawdown limits reduce, but do not eliminate, the possibility of significant loss.
10. Currency and stable-value risk
Accounts are denominated in digital assets such as USDT. Their value relative to your home currency, and their redeemability, can change. Local banking conditions may affect your ability to convert crypto to fiat.
11. Tax risk
Tax treatment of digital assets and trading profits varies by jurisdiction and may change retroactively. Obtain independent tax advice.
12. Conflicts of interest
The Firm and its personnel may trade the same or similar instruments for their own accounts and may operate multiple client mandates and the Signals service simultaneously. We manage conflicts in good faith, but they cannot be fully eliminated.
